Managed Service
connect2control is an easy und safe managed service solution for ensuring accessibility of devices, such as controls, machines, displays, etc., via public IP networks like the Internet, mobile data networks or corporate networks.
Aartesys AG offers the c2c service as "carefree service package". The package includes the c2c gateway, any necessary SIM cards and the entire c2c control center operation, i.e. registration, access test, connectivity, monitoring and alerting, and optionally also the lifecycle management.
Easy connection
The device to be controlled is connected to the IP communication network via Ethernet interface or mobile adapter and via the c2c gateway based on Aartesys' EasyGateway.
The c2c gateway has two communication ports to the Internet:
- Ethernet for the connection to a broadband connection
- Mobile IP adapter for the communication with a mobile IP network
The broadband connection can be designed as direct connection or as connection to a corporate network. All that is required for the c2c gateway is the possibility to establish an http connection to the Internet.
If no broadband connection is available, the connection to the Internet is implemented via mobile data connection. A standard SIM card without any special functions is used. Accessibility of the c2c gateways is continuously monitored by the c2c control center.
Easy operation
The connection to the control can be established by every user in a remote process from any device using a browser and Internet connection. The connection is via c2c control center and a safe connection using a one-time password.
Easy commissioning
For standard operation, the c2c gateway does not require any configuration. The entire information is loaded from the c2c control center in an automatic registration process after which the c2c gateway is immediately operational.
Where special configurations are required, such as e.g. static address for activating the connected device, proxy server for broadband connections via LAN, etc., this information is entered locally using the web browser.
