Managed Service
The meter readout service offered by Aartesys is based on the managed service connect2building, c2b, the innovative communication service for an efficient remote access to internal devices of the buildings, like energy meters, building controls, alarm systems, level indicators, etc.
Extendable for the future
At any time, the system can be extended to Multi Utility, SmartMetering or multi-service applications. The EasyGateways are equipped with the corresponding interfaces and performance reserves.
The service optionally includes the lifecycle management of the communication solution.
Communication via mobile and broadband network
The meter readout service is based on the EasyGateway devices that can communicate via mobile networks or broadband connections (DSL. fibre, cable). This constellation makes it possible to replace mobile communication by a subsequently developed fibre network – in which case only the EasyGateway will require remote configuration.
Meter interfaces
By default, the EasyGateways are equipped with CS and RS485 interfaces and communicate via the IEC protocol. The EasyGateways can optionally be equipped with M-bus, M-bus mobile and multiple pulse inputs.
Interfaces to superordinate systems
The recorded data can be transmitted to the corresponding evaluation system using standard network services, such as e.g. file transmission sftp. Or you can specify the interface we should use: We adapt SOAP interfaces, transmissions in XML-, text-, or specific formats in the shortest possible time so that inputs can be made directly in your SAP IS-U, for example.
Easy commissioning
Commissioning of the c2b services is very easy and does not require any special training for the installation staff. Simple tools combined with the necessary system support and central assistance make commissioning safe and efficient.
