Machine-to-machine communication
Aartesys has many years of experience in safe transmission of measuring values and alarms from distributed quality and performance measuring systems. It therefore has the necessary basic technology for large-scale applications that need to transmit remote event information on a time or event basis to a central site.
The Management System AMIRA as well as various data communication devices form an ideal platform that is structured to ensure that safe transmission of events and data receives high priority.
Communication services
A broad range of communication services can be used for the transmission of data and events. This includes:
- POTS Modem V.90
- ISDN (64kbps)
- Fast-Ethernet / Intranet
- Fast-Ethernet / Internet
- WLAN
- Mobile communication GSM/CSD
- Mobile communication GPRS/UMTS
- Local radio connections, VHF/UHF, ZigBee, BlueTooth
These communication services can be used individually or in combination. Also multi-layer networks with transmission nodes are possible (e.g. local radio connection and Internet communication combined).
Data communication unit
Aartesys has various data communication units (DCUs) that can collect and evaluate criteria and data from different transport media and transport them safely to a central place. These devices can also move data and control signals to decentral places.
In addition to the communication interface, the data communication units have, depending on their configuration, digital and analog I/O ports (partially with electrical separation) and serial interfaces.
The GSM/GPRS version also has a bidirectional voice communication option.
